07/30 - Yesterday evening, we wrapped up the 2013 Short Track Series in style! The weather was just perfect, the course rocked, and we counted a record 426 racers, plus a ton of kiddie racers and spectators. And, unsurprisingly, the Ultra Short Track Team Relay race delivered all the drama and spectacle everyone was looking forward to... from the hectic Le Mans start, to the high-speed, final-lap cliffhanger duel between Joe Santos of Cyclepath Racing, James Ceccorulli of bicycleattorney.com, and josh Armagost of Green Submarine Records (with a very close top-3 finish in that order), to the hilarious DFL finish of John Gove, sporting his wife's Sweatpie Ladies Auxiliary skinsuit... Priceless!
THANKS to everyone who came out yesterday and throughout the series. Also a major shout to our title sponsor Hopworks Urban Brewing, our other series sponsors, our 40+ volunteers and OBRA officials, and all the folks at PIR. Without their help and support we wouldn't be able to pull it all off!
