Thanks to all riders who dressed up and raced in their summer-casual non-race best last Monday.
Here are some race shots of our prime winners in each race heat.

Beginner/Junior Women
prime winner: # 111 Whitney Stenkamp
Okay, there's some lycra peeking from under the skirt, but the flowers are real.
And look at those shades. She's clearly on her way to the beach!

first runner-up (and first-lap prime winner): # 41 Angela Koch
Team BTA opting for full-length jeans... word has that they'll race cross this fall in arctic-lined Carhartts.
Beginner/Junior Men

prime winner: #108 Brian Tobin
Admittedly, he didn't have much competition. Nice shirt, though!
Sport Women
prime winner: #335 Kris Rotan
Special mention for most colorful socks!
Singlespeed

prime winner: #397 Matt Cardinal
... in vintage Cardinal sleeveless shirt.
Sport Men
prime winner: #69 Will Cortez
OK, cut-offs are the new chique, but not sure that farmer-tan bike racers should be allowed to go this short.
Pro/Semi-Pro/Expert Men
prime winner: #212 Jacob Furniss
Cut-off shorts... this is the way it's done, Will!
BTW: rumor has that between Jacob and his bro, they don't own a single shred of lycra.
Pro/Expert Women
Surprisingly, not a single girl made the cut in the pro/expert race (or at least we didn't get to see any pictures of pro/expert women in casual outfits).
Need to lay off the lycra, girls. Seriously... this isn't road racing!
